Natural range: Tropical Asia

Recognition: Opposite-leaved shrub having the leaf blades splotched with patterning in multiple muted colors. Flowers purplish.

Landscape uses: Valued mostly for the patterned foliage, this more muted than that of Croton or Coleus.  Mixed plantings or specimen. Escaped.
