Natural range: Eastern Asia

Recognition: Semi-succulent vine with opposite leaves, milky latex, and creamy-colored, star-shaped flowers in umbellate clusters

Landscape uses: Fragrant-flowered, semi-succulent vine best in containers and hanging baskets. Selections with variegated leaves are available. ‘Variegata’ and ‘Exotica’. ‘Krinkle Kurl’ (Hindu Rope Plant) has deformed leaves. (UFFPS257)
