name: Generic name for Karl von Rumohr Holstein, 19th Century
patron of botany (HUX). Specific epithet refers to similarity to
Maidenhair-Fern, Adiantum.

Very widespread, Southern Hemisphere (HUX) (not native to Florida) (JOF)
Recognition:
Leaves bipinnate and nearly three-times pinnate, leathery and glossy, the
ultimate divisions lopsided; sori small dots. May be epiphytic.
Landscape uses:
In South Florida, often in containers. Used for cut foliage. Escapes cultivation
