Explanation
of name:
Andreas Cesalpini (1519-1603) was an Italian botanist, philosopher, and
physician to Pope Clement VIII.(DEH). Granadillo probably refers to
Bishop Francisco Granadillo (1878-1927) who was a bishop of Valencia in
Venezuela.
