The generic name comes from Greek for noble. Angustifolia means
narrow-leaved.

A much-cultivated small agave with straight, prickle-margined leaves having
white-striping. Forms basal suckers prolifically.

A popular space-filling agave due to its tendency to form abundant basal
suckers, and its small stature. Subject to fungal problems if too wet.
