3. Flowers reddish, rosy, purplish, or flesh-colored…4

3. Flowers yellow…Thryallis (Galphimia gracilis)

4. Native shrub; leaves without glands;  stamens pubescent basally; styles narrowed toward the tip…Locust-Berry (Byrsonima lucida)

4. Non-native shrubs or small trees; leaves with glands; stamens glabrous; styles broadened toward the tip…5
