Explanation of name: Jasminum is an ancient name. Multiflorum means many-flowered.

Natural range: India

Recognition: Semi-shrubby, semi-vining, pubescent species with fuzzy leaves 2”-3” long and with white flowers.  This is the only Jasmine in South Florida with strongly pubescent foliage.

Landscape uses: Low hedges and, better, for massing and filling space, serving as a shrub-sized ground cover.  Used extensively.
