Recognition:    Sepals and petals white; corona (fingers at center of flower) purple to pink; leaves dull-toned on top (vs. glossy in similar P. edulis)

Landscape uses:   Showy-flowered native vine, creeps on ground or climbs, larval plant for Gulf Fritillary Butterfly.
