Very abundant in moist habitats, slightly less in northwest portion of state.
Recognition:
Sedge with white bracts that resemble white petals that extend into green
points. The inflorescence is a dense group of small spikes, which each contain
small flowers. They are in bloom all summer into fall.
Rhynchospora latifolia has
overall larger dimensions.
