Recognition:
Bushy growth pattern with low branching.
Leaves grayish-green and alternately arranged with serrate margins, with a
cluster of glands on the underside where the petiole joins the blade.
Light pink flowers about 1 cm wide,
usually with 5 petals.
Fruit shaped like a dime-sized pie with bristly segments that cling to
fabric.
Also known as:
Hibiscus Burr, Pink Chinese Burr, Malva, and Aramina.
